Hello

My name is Terry. I am an enthusiastic, optimistic collaborator. I love to be part of team where we grow, where we learn, empathize and collectively solve user problems. Using creativity, adaptability, resourcefulness, and a growth mindset, there isn't any challenge that I am not up for. I do not shy away from talking to shareholders as expectations fuel me to exceed the limits.

My Story

I have cultivated an extensive career where I have grown in every role. I utilize skills in being adaptable, resourceful, and having a growth mindset to not only learn a role, but to master it and then teach others how to work together in a collaborative fashion. With over 20 years in some form of management, I have learned no one can do it alone. It is a team effort and I stay true to that every day of my career.

I have worked in hospitality, customer service, and more recently retail, three industries where the customer experience is the primary focus towards success. I believe with this background, it was only natural to be drawn towards a career in UX. I recently completed a cohort a month before everyone else because of my skills in multi-tasking and prioritization while working a 40 hour work week and raising a two year old.

My Joy Outside Of Work

I am more than just a UX/UI Designer. When I got free time, or just need a break from thinking of creative ways to solve problems, these are some of the activities I love to just unwind.
